Explaining the break

Tomorrow may be dramatic, but obviously TiD hasn’t had any posts in quite a while. There is a reason for this, and it is Europe. TiD has been on holiday for a few days, and will return to form on the 28th of August. There’s been plenty of interesting things captured while here (we’re intentionally generalizing Europe even though it has been quite diverse), and the future looks to be brilliant.
In the meantime, a few notes:
-Germany has much better beer than Austria, however Austria has much better bathrooms than Germany.
-Viennese are not averse to smiling, but a general depression from economy, high taxes, a desire for colder weather, and cultural pressure takes precedence.
-Zurich is more expensive than you’d like to imagine.
-The weather in the Alps is dramatic.
Think of the future! Save the drama! Write your representatives!
